But they’re not the only ones on your reading list, according to a new report.
The survey, conducted by research firm Nielsen and released Monday, found that there are around 6 million gay literary titles published in the U.S. alone.
There are more than 7,000 more published by straight authors, with about 6,000 of those titles by men.
There are some other titles that you might be unaware of that are being published by gay writers.
For example, the study found that gay literary fiction is more popular than straight fiction, with more than 40% of all gay-authored fiction being written by men, with only about 6% by women.
The study also found that a majority of gay-identified authors also write straight books, with the average age of authorship for a gay-identifying author is 25.
It found that authors who are black, Latino, Native American or Asian are the most likely to be male.
